SURGERY TIMES

During the week the telephone lines are open from 8.00 am – 6.30 pm and the surgery is open from 8.30am – 6.30pm for patients to make appointments, pick up prescriptions and for general enquiries.

We keep both our surgeries open over the lunchtime period for our patients’ convenience, although it may be necessary occasionally to close for an hour or two for training purposes.

Morning: 8.30 – 11.45am
(Monday to Friday)

Afternoon: 2.30 - 6.00pm
(Monday to Friday)

Routine appointments can be made up to 4 weeks in advance. Some clinics can be booked up to 6 months in advance.

Extended Opening Hours

For your convenience pre-booked appointments are now available as early as 8.00 am and after 6.00 pm, although you may not be able to see your own GP at these times. There is also a Saturday surgery twice a month, usually at Broadstone on the 1st Saturday of the month and at Corfe Mullen on the 3rd Saturday. These surgeries are for routine appointments only and must be pre-booked.

OUT OF HOURS

Under the new GP contract your local Primary Care Trust is responsible for your medical service out of hours (6.30pm - 8.00am weekdays and all weekend).

If you require URGENT medical attention or advice that cannot wait until the surgery is open, please call Urgent Care Service 0845 600 10 13
If you are SERIOUSLY ILL or have had a SERIOUS ACCIDENT, then call 999 and ask for an AMBULANCE
For non-urgent health information or advice, please phone NHS Direct 0845 46 47
Alternatively you can call your normal surgery number and the above numbers will be given to you via answerphone - please have a pen/paper ready.
